James Webb ripete Lucid Dreaming

Dopo 9 giorni di tentativi James Webb riesce a venire a capo di "Lucid Dreaming", 8C aperto nel 2010 da Paul Robinson a Bishop.
Su Instagram scrive di questa esperienza, raccontando che i boulders di questo stile, su tacche molto piccole, a lui poco consoni, da sempre lo avevano intimorito.
"Throughout my climbing life I’ve always considered myself a terrible crimp climber. I convinced myself long ago that I was either too big, or just to weak to be able to push myself in this style."
Nonostante le quasi nulle aspettative di riuscita, sua la tenacia viene premiata e riesce infine a salirlo.
"I learned a lot from this experience and the most important part of that was to always try and never shy away from a challenge just because you think you can’t do it"
Fino ad ora il passaggio era stato ripetuto solamente da Daniel Woods (2014), Alex Megos (2015) e Toru Nakajima (2017).
