Taylor McNeill riesce nella prima ripetizione di "The Multiverse", una bellissima linea aperta in Wyoming da James Webb nel 2014 e inizialmente valutata 8B+. Successivamente, in base alle sensazioni degli aspiranti ripetitori e dello stesso Taylor, il grado sembra essersi assestato a 8C.
"Why must I do everything on the literal last day!? So stressful. Perfect line from Jimmy, unrepeated since 2014, stoked to get the long awaited 2nd ascent. Best of the best. 8 days."

Durante l'estate Taylor aveva salito un altro difficile blocco: "Variant", anch'esso 8C, situato nell'area del Mt. Evans.

Will Bosi, terza salita di Alphane 9A

Dopo una bella serie di tentativi, Will Bosi riesce a risolvere la sequenza di "Alphane", 9A di Chironico, uno dei boulders più impegnativi al mondo, aggiudicandosi la terza salita dopo l'apritore Shawn Raboutou e Aidan Roberts, che ha condiviso con lui il lavoro sul blocco.

Lattice Training riporta in un post che secondo Will sia stato più impegnativo risolvere "Honey Badger", 8C+ da lui aperto recentemente, rispetto ad "Alphane".
"In terms of a grade, I personally felt that Honey Badger (8C+) was more of a challenge for me and proposing a grade for that at the time was daunting as it was my first 8C+. At the cutting edge of climbing, grading feels so much more difficult as the margins are that much finer and personal strengths and preferences really come into play."

Ritorno in forma sui blocchi per Karoline Sinnhuber che in Zillertal riesce a salire "Smeagol" 8B.

Drew Ruana ripete The Ice Knife (sit-start) 8C+

Un altra performance di altissimo livello per Drew Ruana che riesce nella prima ripetizione di "The Ice Knife (sit-start)" 8C+.
Sono stati necessari ben 9 anni per vedere la seconda salita del blocco aperto da Daniel Woods nell'area di Guanella Pass.
Per Drew il suo più difficile boulder di sempre, per il quale sono stati necessari 35 giorni di tentativi.
Dave Graham aveva aperto "The Ice Knife", la versione originaria, con partenza in piedi, nel 2011. Due anni dopo Daniel Woods riusciva nella partenza da seduto, aggiungendo 5 movimenti valutabili intorno ad 8B.

First sent by @dawoods89 in fall 2013 (I think?) this rig has sat unrepeated for nearly a decade. While the stand was starting to get more and more traffic recently the sit remained elusive. Adding a weird, tweaky 5 move v13 sequence to the stand start, the sit adds much more depth and complexity to the already brutal stand. This is the longest time it’s taken me to send a boulder (yet) and after 35ish days I was incredibly stoked to stand on top of by far my hardest yet."

Marine Thevenet si aggiudica la prima salita femminile (FFA) di
"Compass North", 8B+ aperto da Clément Lechaptois nella scorsa primavera a Fionnay.
Dovrebbe trattarsi della quarta salita del blocco. Una difficile sequenza su tacche in forte strapiombo, stile sul quale Marine dice di trovarsi particolarmente a proprio agio.

Dopo essersi aggiudicata il titolo di campionessa italiana Boulder e Lead, Camilla Moroni ritrova il tempo di dedicarsi nuovamente alla roccia e sale l'ennesimo 8A+ (ben quattro risolti di recente). È la volta di "Primitivo Stand", famoso boulder della Val Bavona aperto da James Webb e inizialmente valutato 8B.

In Val Bavona Pietro Vidi riesce a salire la bellissima sequenza di "Squalo Bianco", 8B+ aperto da Giuliano Cameroni due anni or sono.
Secondo Pietro il suo blocco più difficile risolto fino ad ora.

Definitely my hardest so far and an absolute MEGA!"

Aidan Roberts realizza la prima ripetizione di "Alphane", uno dei pochi 9A al mondo, aperto Shawn Raboutou a Chironico.
Dopo un recente 'assedio' in compagnia di un altro top climber, il connazionale Will Bosi, e alcune sessioni indoor su una replica del blocco (video), Aidan riesce a concatenare la difficilissima sequenza.
