Un nuovo blocco estremo per Charles Albert a Fontainebleau: dopo 8 anni di tentativi riesce a venire a capo di "Charlatan", per il quale non si pronuncia ancora su una valutazione, presumibilmente nei dintorni di 8C+ o 9A.

Circa un anno prima Charles era riuscito a realizzare i due difficilissimi movimenti chiave e raggiungere il bordo del blocco, cadendo però sul facile ristabilimento a causa di una dislocazione della spalla. Il video di questo tentativo sfortunato sul suo Instagram.

Nell'area di Holstejn, in Repubblica Ceca, Jana Švecová riesce nella prima salita di "Tokyo Drift", proponendo la valutazione di 8C.

La linea ha in comune la partenza e la fine di "Drift", 8C di Adam Ondra (2017), percorrendo però un itinerario più corto e diretto.

The send was so unexpected, not because I wouldn’t be close in terms of highpoint, but because of the conditions and other circumstances
First of all, the temp was 5 degrees celsius which is almost unimaginable for me to climb and extremely windy
Second of all, I had to readjust most of the holds and even had a foot slip but the desire to send this boulder this go, this session was bigger than any slip and wrongly hit hold. It just worked … well, it was kinda drama at the end, I was emotional."

Si tratta del suo secondo 8C (FA), nel 2023 Jana aveva realizzato la prima salita di "Nova", concatenando la partenza di "Sedni si na kost" con la seconda parte di "Terranova", famoso 8C+ aperto da Adam Ondra nel 2011 e ad oggi ancora irripetuto.
Da lei inizialmente proposto come 8B+, veniva rivalutato ad 8C dopo la seconda salita, ad opera di Will Bosi.

Una bella serie di blocchi di alto livello per Stefano Ghisolfi in Ticino, tra i quali tre 8C, risolti in poco più di una settimana.

Si comincia da Cresciano, in cui riesce a salire uno dei passaggi che hanno fatto la storia del bouldering: "Dreamtime".

Pochi giorni dopo è la volta di "The Story of Two Worlds" (video).

"Another dream line went down, The Story of 2 Worlds in Cresciano. I started working it while I was also trying Dreamtime and I struggled a lot on the shoulder move at the beginning, but after a huge fight I could finally climb it on my 4th session."

Si sposta poi in Val Bavona dove viene a capo di "4-Low".

"4-Low, my third 8C of the trip, almost went down in a session, did it on my second day. Amazing line in Bavona discovered by @giuliano_cameroni and first ascended by @dawoods89"

Ancora una grandissima prestazione flash per Adam Ondra, questa volta su "Emotional Landscapes", 8C aperto da Klem Loskot in Maltatal nel 2002.

La quattordicenne svizzera Amélie Kägi sale il suo primo 8B: "Flow my tears".
Il passaggio, situato nell'area di Chironico, le ha richiesto una sola sessione per venirne a capo.

"This boulder has some very nice, hard moves, mostly on slopers. I managed to do them all fairly quickly, except for the first move. I struggled a lot with the heel hook on the left. After I figured it out, I did some sendgoes, but I always missed a hold. You have to be very precise to grab the hold, which is quite difficult because you can't see around the edge. After optimizing my beta, I sent this cool boulder."

Adam Ondra sempre al top nella sua recente visita ai boulders del Ticino. In Val Bavona riesce (inaspettatamente) a risolvere flash il suo terzo 8C: "Celestite".
Il passaggio era stato aperto nel 2023 da Dave Graham e valutato 8C+. Adam lo risolve con un metodo leggermente differente, a suo parere valutabile 8C.

"Celestite has never been on my mind as a candidate for a flash try. I mean, looking at video of the absolute kneebar master and wizard himself @dave_graham_, who put up the first ascent of this incredible boulder, it doesn’t look flashable at all. But after my ascent of Captain Nemo, the late afternoon humidity settled in and it was a good option as it is river-polished rock where a bit humidity actually helps. I was there with @pie.vidi and @giuliano_cameroni, who showed me all the beta and I set off for my flash try, with nobody, including me, really expecting that I would get very far on this boulder "

Grande esempio di longevità arrampicatoria da parte di Pietro Bassotto che a 62 anni riesce ancora ad esprimersi ad altissimi livelli salendo il suo primo 8B.
Nell'area di Novalesa risolve "Siamo già arrabbiati low", lunga sequenza che aggiunge una partenza bassa a "Siamo già arrabbiati" (8A+).

A inizio dicembre, dopo aver salito Siamo già arrabbiati, ho deciso di aprire un super progetto sulla versione low.
La linea parte dal punto più basso del grottino e lo traversa per tutta la sua lunghezza, collegandosi alla partenza di “Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo”.
Un blocco lungo, fisico, di resistenza, su caratteristiche concrezioni di quarzo.
È stata un’esperienza unica."

Nella stessa giornata riesce anche ad aprire una nuova linea di 8A+: "Superpiedi quasi piatti".

Secondo blocco di 8C flash per Adam Ondra che a Brione sale al primo tentativo "The Lions Share". A suo parere il passaggio più difficile da lui risolto in questo stile.

Aperto nel 2023 da Aidan Roberts , il boulder era stato ripetuto soltanto da Jakob Schubert, Matt Fultz e Sam Weir.
Dopo la valutazione iniziale di 8C+ il grado si era poi assestato ad 8C.

Nel 2025 Adam aveva salito il suo primo 8C flash: "Foundation's Edge" a Fionnay.

Finora, oltre ad Adam, solo Yannick Flohé (link) e Jules Marchaland (link) sono stati in grado di salire flash un boulder di 8C.

Grande impresa per il sedicenne statunitense Beckett Hsin che riesce a venire a capo di "No One Mourns the Wicked", realizzandone la terza salita dopo quelle dell'apritore Nathaniel Coleman (2024) e di Hamish McArthur (2025).

Beckett è attualmente il più giovane climber in grado di risolvere un boulder di 9A.
Nello scorso anno aveva già stupito per la salita in giornata di "Defying Gravity", 8C. Ora ne aggiunge la partenza bassa e chiude "No One Mourns the Wicked".

Nel settembre 2025 aveva risolto un altro difficilissimo boulder: "Creature from the black lagoon", 8C+ aperto da Daniel Woods nel 2016 nel Rocky Mountain National Park.

Nuovi boulders aperti da Michaela Kiersch in Marocco, nell'area di Oukaimeden, in compagnia di Ashima Shiraishi.
Tra questi spicca "Taradine", 8B, del quale Michaela effettua la prima salita, seguita da quella di Ashima.
