Yannick Flohé sempre in grande forma: ad aprile, nell'area di Thunder Ridge, è riuscito a risolvere "No One Mourns the Wicked", aperto a fine 2024 da Nathaniel Coleman e valutato 9A.

Ne realizza così la quarta salita. Il blocco era stato finora ripetuto solo da Hamish McArthur nel 2025 (in una sola sessione) e Beckett Hsin nel febbraio 2026.

"From the first day I was sure that I could sent NOMTW but in the end it took me 7 sessions. Anyway I don’t think that this climb is 9A considering this was more a battle against conditions and dry skin then with the Boulder itself. I’ve sent no 9A yet but I know what other 9As feel like and therefore I suggest 8C+."

Pur non avendo ancora salito blocchi di 9A, in base alle sensazioni relative a quelli da lui provati ritiene di poter proporre il grado di 8C+.

Ad inizio maggio Yannick è venuto a capo anche di "Brain Rot" (video e commento), problema di Magic Wood aperto da Will Bosi nel 2025 e inizialmente valutato 8C+.
Dopo alcune ripetizioni sono stati trovati muovi metodi, più facili di quello originale. Secondo Yannick il grado corretto potrebbe essere 8B+.

"@will_bosi made the first ascent not too long ago with some weird, hard beta and graded it 8C+. After a lot of repeats, some new micro beta was found, and the climb now feels more like 8B+ to me."
