Akiyo Noguchi è una delle leggende dell'arrampicata sportiva, impegnata prevalentemente nelle competizioni, tre volte vincitrice della Coppa del Mondo (2009,2010,2014) e terza classificata alle Olimpiadi di Tokyo 2020 (2021), la sua ultima gara prima del ritiro definitivo.
Nella sua recente permanenza in Finlandia, assieme a suo marito Tomoa Narasaki (alle prese con i tentativi su "Burden of Dreams"), riesce a risolvere il suo primo 8B+ effettuando la prima salita femminile (FFA) di "The Globalist", storico blocco aperto nel 2009 da Nalle Hukkataival nell'area di Sipoo.

I’m beyond grateful to have completed The Globalist — the main goal of my Finland trip. This boulder was first ascent by Finnish legend Nalle Hukkataival in 2009.
It’s my first ever V14, and I’ve been told it’s also the FFA.
Such an honor to climb this beautiful, iconic line that represents the spirit of Sipoo."
